Irakli Kobakhidze and Nikol Pashinyan celebrated the opening of the new Georgian Embassy building in Armenia
The Prime Ministers of Georgia and Armenia, Irakli Kobakhidze and Nikol Pashinyan, respectively, celebrated the opening of the new Georgian Embassy building in Armenia, marking a significant milestone in the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Hosted by Giorgi Sharvashidze, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Armenia, the event took place in the newly acquired building situated in a strategic location amidst other diplomatic missions.
This acquisition, completed in 2024, represents the first time Georgia owns an embassy building in Armenia. The design of the building incorporates distinct ethnic and cultural motifs, reflecting Georgia's rich heritage. With this new embassy, Georgia now proudly owns 15 embassy buildings worldwide.
