On May 22, 2026, a ceremonial reception dedicated to Georgia’s Independence Day was held at the Embassy of Georgia.

Among the attendees were the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Lasha Darsalia, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan, representatives of various governmental institutions of the Republic of Armenia, heads of the diplomatic corps accredited in Armenia and representatives of international organizations, as well as members of the Georgian charitable community “Iveria” and citizens of Georgia and Armenia.
